Jon McDonald

Jon began his career in 1990, working for one of the first High-Def companies in the US. Based in the Ed Sullivan Theater, the company worked on projects for IBM, NHK, MTV, Sharp, CBS, the Advanced Television Systems Committee, and Phil Ramone's - "Liza Minelli: Live At Radio City Music Hall".
In 1994 he accepted a job as Writer/Producer/Director for HD Vision in Dallas, Texas. Here, he wrote, produced, and consulted on HD programs for NHK, the NBA, Woodstock II, Merrill Lynch, Kodak, ABC, Hughes/JVC, NEC, TCI, NHK, PBS, Chrysler, Alcatel, Pac Bell, Ameritech, the City of Denver, Kraft Foods, Zenith, WFAA, the United Nations, and many others.
He began his own production company in 1997 and has directed and produced programming for PBS, Hewlett Packard, Novellus, NEC, Williams Communications, IBM, NHK, Fox, HD-Net, Discovery HD, and shot and produced the Kid Rock music video "Jackson Mississippi".
Today, Jon McDonald has partnered with his old friend Randy Martin to create and produce their own Independent Films. 'Jesus In Laredo' is their first Indie project.

Randy Martin

For almost a decade, Randy Martin has been producing national broadcast content. Randy's productions have been commissioned by top television networks including The Sundance Channel, CBS, ESPN, TNT, NBC, USA Networks, Gospel Music Channel, Fine Living, Food Network, A&E Biography Channel, Golf Channel and The Tennis Channel.
Over the years, Randy has created over 160 half-hours of non-fiction episodic programming. In addition to series work, he has produced and directed numerous award-winning specials and documentaries including the recent 24x24: Wide Open with Jeff Gordon (for TNT Sports, Pepsi Entertainment, Lionsgate Films, and WideOPEN Entertainment). He has been the major contributing producer for documentaries to CBS coverage of the Masters golf tournament while working at Holden Production Group. Randy was also a Producer on the National Sports Emmy-nominated Tiger at 30. He has directed BIOGRAPHY documentaries on personnel from Beyonce to Whitney Houston to Guns N' Roses to Ty Pennington to Les Paul.
